Macro Invertebrate & Water Quality Sampling Event 4/3/12 On April 3, 2012, the Department of Natural Resources sampled eight of the 11 historic sites on Hinkson Creek for water quality parameters and macro invertebrates. Macro Invertebrate & Water Quality Sampling Event 4/10/13 On April 10, 2013, the Department of Natural Resources started sampling Hinkson Creek. Due to heavy rains, the Department finished sampling on 4/22/13. The Department was able to sample all 11 historic sites on Hinkson Creek for water quality parameters and macro invertebrates. Stakeholder Tour of the Hinkson Creek Watershed On May 9, 3013, the Stakeholders toured the Hinkson Creek Watershed. Stops included Twin Lakes, Hinkson Creek Fields low water crossing, Capen Park, the Walnut St. bridge, Hinkson Creek Rd., and Rogers Rd.
